Comment from the Principal – 8th September 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope that this will reach you this week: our internet connection failed again on Friday and it has taken Mr Abbott a great deal of time and skill to get us back on-line.
Operation Christmas Child
Happily the internet problems did not stop our Year 11 students from helping pack shoe boxes for this initiative.

Dear Parents and Carers,

The long weekend certainly made the week just past fly-by but I hope that the extra day's leave was restorative for all (as it seems to have been for many to whom I have spoken).

Music

Certainly our musicians (probably around 35% of the student body) needed a bit of time to recharge their depleted reserves of energy after an outstanding Festival.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We approach the long weekend after a week of the most incredible variety in weather conditions, the wind contributing, at times, to ‘lively’ behaviour in some of our students.

Music

Fortunately much of this energy has been transformed into meaningful musical activity and I have enjoyed hearing an abundance of this at the Music Festival.

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a week of interesting contrasts in all sorts of respects, not least the weather!
Photographs

The weather payed its part in altering the arrangements for the photographs but, happily, we managed to get the whole-School one taken outdoors.

Dear Parents and Carers,

A slightly delayed comment this week to allow time for reflection after the Family Fun Night and our farewells to our guests from Japan.

Family Fun Night
This was another enjoyable evening of convivial company and entertainment organised by the Parents and Friends Association.

Comment from the Principal – 26th June 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

Another busy week has gone by and we are now, incredibly it seems, into the final week of term. The School is relatively quiet with about a quarter of the School, and accompanying staff, away on Country Week.

Country Week

We wish our teams – touch-rugby (for the first time), volleyball, basketball, netball and dance – every success in this incredible week of sport and look forward to hearing how they have fared.

Comment from the Principal – 16th June 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a busy week as the term moves into its final stages but with much that is favourable on which to report.

Cross Country

We were blessed with fine conditions for the inter-house cross country races held, again, over the iconic Twilight Beach course.
