Term 3

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcomes have been the order of the day recently: we welcomed all students and staff back to School after the break; we welcomed four new students to the School; and we welcomed our Japanese exchange students for their ten day stay here.

Welcome Back to Term 2

Students returned refreshed from the vacation and buoyed by the news of the remarkable and on-going recovery of one of our Year 12 students who had been involved in a serious accident the previous term. The term ahead promises to be a busy one with much activity around sport and drama as we prepare for Country Week and our School Production.

Principal’s Message

Young people are the future of our community and we expect that they should be prepared for life but in a way that avoids subsuming them under a tyranny of testing just to pass examinations. Every young person has a jewel of talent within them and it is our role to ensure that this is discovered and polished to full brightness so that he or she might achieve in ways undreamt of: we really are a community where genuine education takes place.

Welcome to 2015

A great start!

The new academic year started in an invigorating manner with Year 7s joining Year 8s in our biggest-ever intake, bringing the School close to 200 students. Now in our seventh year, the School has grown encouragingly since its foundation when eight students started and there was but one building.
